Foot Posture Evaluation

Foot Posture evaluation determines the way we interact with the ground every stride. In fact, I feel it is so important that it is applied to all  clients.  As a result, all shoes/footware can be purchased with the understanding of individual mechanics and structure.

A person doesn’t necessarily need to be seen in person for an assessment. Rather I need a few carefully taken photos and this blog is a guide to those views.

  1. Barefoot or with sock color that don’t blend into the floor. stand with both feet on the ground. Take a photo from the front and the back that includes the knee joint.
  2. Now stand on one foot and take 4 views:
    1. Front
    2. Outside
    3. Back
    4. Inside
  3. Repeat other side
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 with feet on insoles if you have them (either Over The Counter (OTC) or custom)
  5. Send them to me via email or text.
